Hi, I’m lindsey oakley.

Founder | Business Consultant | Creative Director

A clarity‑driven consultant with a spiritual streak, a caffeine habit, and a suspiciously strong love for spreadsheets.

Hey, I’m Lindsey — hospitality consultant, wellness coach, retreat creator, and former crepe‑slinger who somehow turned caffeine, spreadsheets, and spiritual grounding into a career.
I know. Wild.

My hospitality journey started in a tiny café in Washington, where I learned two things very quickly:

  1. People will absolutely lose their minds over a good crepe.

  2. Hospitality folks are superheroes who desperately need a nap.

From there, I opened my own crepery (because why not), opened a Starbucks (because apparently I love stress) so yes — I can make your latte and your P&L make sense), and eventually became the Director of several Food & Beverage departments.
Yes, I’ve lived the full spectrum — from “Can someone please refill the whipped cream?” to “Why is this P&L SCREAMING at me?”

And listen… I’ve been that operator staring at my bank account like:
Oh cool, negative profit — love that for me.

But then something clicked.
I started seeing patterns.

I started spotting leaks.
I started understanding the numbers like they were gossip — and suddenly everything made sense.

My husband kept saying, “You’re really good with numbers.”
I ignored him until I realized he was right.
(Annoying, but fine.)

He’s a disabled Army vet and former paraeducator who worked in behavioral mental health with kids — which means between the two of us, we’ve seen every flavor of chaos humans can create.
He’s the calm, grounded reminder that people don’t need fixing — they need understanding.
That energy is baked into Lunera.

Somewhere in the middle of all this, I earned my Bachelor of Science in Business Management, and because I apparently enjoy collecting degrees like some people collect houseplants, I’m now working on my Master of Education in Challenging Behaviors.
Turns out, understanding humans and understanding businesses are basically cousins.

The Lunera Collective

Because I’m a multi-passionate human who refuses to pick one lane.

Lunera Consulting

For hospitality operators who want to stop guessing, stop stressing, and finally understand what the heck is happening in their business.
I help you find your leaks, fix your systems, and breathe again — without shame, jargon, or spreadsheets that make you cry.

Lunera Creative Wellness

For humans who want to feel aligned, grounded, creative, and actually excited about their life again.
Workshops, retreats, coaching — all designed to help you find your purpose, reconnect with yourself, and stop living on autopilot.
Neurotypical, autistic, ADHD, wildly creative, beautifully chaotic — everyone’s welcome.
No labels.
No pressure.

Just clarity, compassion, and a little humor to make the journey lighter.

Both sides of Lunera share the same mission:
Help people feel aligned, confident, and supported — in business, in life, and in themselves.

Outside of all that, I’m a mom to a wildly artsy daughter, the owner of Cake Genius (yes, the viral one), and the oldest of three girls raised by a Marine who served 42 years.
Translation: I can handle chaos, lead a room, and get things done — all while staying grounded and cracking jokes.
